The VET8065 thermal fuse (formerly NTE8065, now supplied by Vetco Electronics Semiconductors) is designed to keep your household appliances and electronics safe from overheating. This thermal fuse is easy to install and permanently cuts off power when the temperature exceeds 66C (151F), helping prevent fires and equipment damage.
A thermal cutoff 66C fuse like the VET8065 is a simple and effective solution for home repairs and DIY projects. Use it to replace old or blown fuses in coffee makers, hair dryers, refrigerators, irons, glue guns, fans, and many more appliances. Its fast-acting technology protects your devices instantly when temperatures rise above safe limits.
Popular uses include: hair dryers, refrigerators, battery chargers, irons, hot plates, glue guns, electric motors, fans, coffee makers, microwave ovens, popcorn poppers, dishwashers, toasters, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and more.
If your appliance shuts off due to overheating, replacing the thermal fuse can extend its life and restore safe operation.
Vetco Electronics Semiconductors is committed to delivering original-equivalent, high-quality parts. The VET8065 fuse matches all original NTE specifications and is tested for reliability.
NOTICE 1: As you may or may not already know. NTE is officially out of business and we are unable to order parts from them ever again.
However, we were able to locate the company that NTE used to make these Thermal Cutoffs (All NTE did was relabel product and resell it). This means that you may order the NTE part, but we may ship different part numbers that are the original parts that match the NTE specifications. Certificates Of Conformity are available from us, upon request.
NOTICE 2: These no longer come with the un-insulated crimp butt connectors that NTE used to include with them. If you need them, we recommend either ordering SR-BUT-2N. If you have a special need for them, you can always email us for more information and we are always here to help.
